Class II Intact AC Pipe Removal

Prerequisites

None 

Course Contents

This course covers the identification and classification of asbestos, its health implications, applicable safety precautions and equipment. In addition, this course will cover removal techniques specific to intact asbestos-containing cement pipe.

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion, a course attendee is allowed by L&I to perform the specific asbestos related task of removing intact cement pipe. No other asbestos related activities are authorized by this training.

Course Contents

This course covers the identification and classification of asbestos, its health implications, applicable safety precautions and equipment. In addition, this course will cover removal techniques specific to intact asbestos-containing roofing materials. 

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion, a course attendee is allowed by L&I to perform the specific asbestos-related task of removing intact roofing materials. No other asbestos related activities are authorized by this training.

Asbestos Operation & Maintenance (O&M) INITIAL

This course covers the identification and classification of asbestos, its health implications, applicable safety precautions and equipment. In addition, this course will cover removal techniques specific to repair and maintenance activities that remove/disturb a quantity that is no more than will fit in a 60"x60" waste/glove bag. See state specific regulations regarding the exclusion of pipe insulation.  

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion, a course attendee will be allowed by L&I to conduct repair and maintenance activities that remove/disturb a quantity that is no more than will fit in a 60"x60" waste/glove bag.

In addition, this course will cover removal techniques specific to repair and maintenance activities that remove/disturb a quantity that is no more than will fit in a 60"x60" waste/glove bag.
