01 Asbestos Supervisor Initial Training - SPOKANE

This is a 4-day (40 Hour) course & satisfies the requirements outlined through the EPA Model Accreditation Plan addressing asbestos regulations, medical surveillance, health effects, worker protection, sampling, work practices, removal techniques, and other safety and health considerations.
L&I requires at least 1600 documented hours on application. Please refer to WAC 296-65-012 for specifics.
We will provide free quantitative fit testing for students who are enrolled in the class. Students need to bring a North or 3M respirator with them to class (any other brand of respirator will require an adapter to be provided by the student) along with a current medical approval to wear a respirator to class. According to 29 CFR 1910.134, the test shall not be conducted if there is any hair growth between the skin and the facepiece sealing surface, such as stubble beard growth, beard, mustache or sideburns which cross the respirator sealing surface.
